Eid al-Adha - which means 'feast of the sacrifice' - is celebrated just over two months later, at the same time when many Muslims perform the Hajj pilgrimage. Eid al-Adha coincides with the end of Hajj - the annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia, and is generally considered the holier of the two.

Is there another Eid 2021?
This second set of annual Eid festivities starts on the 10th day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah - the 12th and final month of the Islamic calendar - and lasts until the 13th day. According to the Umm al-Qura Calendar of Saudi Arabia, Eid ul Adha is predicted to fall on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.
